13 years being a monk really changes how you see the world and today, Bhakti Vedanta Meditator & teacher, Jaya Jagannath Das joins us to talk about how he’s engaged and mobilized his community.
During the lockdown, Jaya started to broadcast conversations to keep his spiritual community together. “Our tradition focuses a lot on service to God, and service to that which is coming from God which is everything, so this [podcast] became a form of service to have online conversations. The idea was to reconnect our experience to our knowledge which quickly gets divorced in times of strife if you’re not very attentive to it.”
We get really philosophical in this episode and talk about the search for God, decerning the truth, finding peace, gaining wisdom, and self-discipline. He’s a coach, and he hosts multiple excellent podcasts that explore spirituality, men’s work, and community. He has been leading men’s groups and teaching the spiritual texts of India through his platform and has a lot of gems to share in this conversation.
